Maiden with the 270....

I received my 270 & lipos on Tues & so after un boxing i went through checking it out mechanically. Only one issue was a follower arm not thread locked... so put that right.
Programed my Dx9 & charged lipos... then the wait for the weather.
Friday i decided to go for it... was still a bit too much gusting wind but, lift off a flight was quite ok.
i found the 270 had some right & Fwd drift & so had to adjust the links to ease off the stick input(I will re level the swash).
The next few flights were nice, a few funnels & backwards flight the heli was very stable, i enjoyed the first flights so far. I feel it needs a bit more Aileron travel but all in all it flies very well & in very strong wind too.
Very pleased so far.
Just a note on the bailout... i am used to the Spirit fbl and so when i tried the 270 i found it goes into a climb but very slow.. nedd to check that.
Whilst inverted the bailout nearly caught me out as i wasnt ready for what seamed to be the helli started to roll to the upright, i emediatly let go of bailout and luckily got control ok. Might try that a bit higher the next time.

How's the 270 holding up? Any issues to share yet?

how about spares as I see there are not a lot about so I've held off at the moment cool looking heli tho

Hi Leigh,
Great heli. thoroughly enjoy flying it.
This will be my learner heli now and will take the place of my 180cfx. it is flying just fine and i haven't needed any parts as yet but, i decided to purchase a 'crash kit' just in case. Also ordered 2x nice canopies which have been shipped.
There is quite a following on the HF with plenty of info too.
