450 Flybarless conversion which head to use ?

Hi all thinking of converting my beam e4 to flybarless and was wondering if the after market fbl heads are any good. I dont mean the cheap import ones somthing like makardo RJX etc. The main shaft is the same diam as most 450 helis.

I would go for a genuine item but the RJX ones look cool :-)

The genuine one looks pants bits of carbon screwed to the blade holders etc really does look like an after thought shame as the rest of the heli is made so well. Hence my question.The original is not expensive but just looks home made.

Or if the RJX 50 head is anything to go by, the 450 one should be good.

The RJX 450 head is good on T-Rex 450 Pros. The build quality could be better, but it seems to work well, and has a good, wide ball spacing.

The Mikado head is nicely made, but has a narrower grip and ball spacing.

Basically whatever FBL head is working well on the Trex 450 Pro / Sport should work well on the Beam. Mine is staying flybarred as it is such a good fb head with no slop and it flies very accurately.

Hi All thanks for the replies I am going to try a 3gx unit just picked one up for £70 and I will get an RJX head to go with it ( £45) Cheers Jasoon

If youve gone for a 3gx then you might aswell get the cheapest head available!

I have tried most flybarless systems but never tried a 3gx and thought it would fit nicely in a 450
