I knew they have been designing it. My post is to point out that it's been released or should I say they are doing pre-order now (in Aus though)?

The one way bearing sleeve which was the weak point on the original beam. I'm wondering if I'll be able to upgrade my existing Beam to fit this new part..which would be good if it can

The tail servo mounted centrally.. good idea in principal, but on my beam, this is where my receiver is, and also have my gyro fitted on the underside of the boom mount. These will have to be mounted elsewhere, and think would start struggling to re-position them. Always feel the gyro is safer on the underside of the boom mount

..Anyway, happy with mine, and don't think I will be a rush to change for the new Beam V2.

Not wanting to upgrade the whole thing though.. and at $119 I'll give it a miss.. unless I have to should I not be able to get the parts for the original beam. So what does this conversion kit comprise off then?

The last order i got for these bearing sleeves were the new hardened ones, so shouldn't just fall apart like the old ones did (however, it makes me wonder what it used to save by shattering?? I guess i'll find out the next time it goes in )..

I've got a packet of the hardened sleeves myself, but haven't had the need to use them yet. Will see how I get on with this old sleeve.

Where are the beams developed and more importantly what are the spares support like. Mattie you might be able to answer this one

Think the Beams are Korean. Spares support is from EVORC. They have good support for the heli, and spares are really not a problem. ie.. order today for tomorrow delivery.

Spares are very well priced aswell.
