Hi Guys,
On my last flight a couple of days ago (bearing in mind i have been flying the heli with no problem for 2 days).. I took her up into a hover and an instant before i hit idle up i heard clicking noises coming from the heli..
It was at head hight at the time so i landed it, it was a little bit wobbly in the air at the time but sort of glided nicely to land..
On inspection, i found that one of the washout links has become unattached from the washout arm (somehow the screw came out
)
The clicking noise was the link knocking out both long linkages and at the time i took the heli down, the only link attached was the other washout link.. I think it's a miracle that it was still flying and landed in one piece..
I think i might add some CA to the link when i install the new ones (although i believe they are designed to retain the screw)..
Just thought i'd share so you guys so you're aware of it..
Cheers,
Mo
