I'm sure they will be fine.

If you wanted a change I would recommend the revollution 2100 18C packs which last very well from my own experiences.

Whilst I have seen teh vids of Richie's Beam on teh 18C packs, I didnt have teh same performance from mine - my Beam seems to need more than 18C. All three packs have now been retired to my glider where they are regularly cooked and still work. I think the 55A ESC needs a little more than 37A available from 18C, certainly with my flying ability

Now the new ones thay had out a little while back are a different story, but they are a little pricey.

Have you tried your Zippy packs on there yet?

I have been watching these new Hyperion G3 cells, they are getting good writeups and are not too badly priced,RobotBirds in the Uk stock them.

35c constant,65c burst 5c charging, plus vastly improved cycle life claimed.

Robotbirds are charging £42 for this pack or less for 25c version.I have one on backorder.

Guys, what is also important here is the weight of the cells. They can have as many 'c's as you like but if they are to heavy the model will fly bad.
            Cheers Matt

Very good point, the 35c Hyperions are the same weight as the Revo 2200 18c black label packs, the 25c ones are lighter.

How heavy are the Platinums Matt? they are not on Mikes site.

These are the packs i am using 30c 2450mah and 187grams,,too early to form a full opinion but at £6.50 each i dont mind LOL.They fit the 450 Pro fine, balance good

The Revo 3s 2200 Platinum comes in at 190gms in it's ready to fly form.

Mike is hoping to have the packs online by tomorrow morning (if there are no delays). It's taking so long because we haven't had the time to get the photographs of the packs together. We have chosen to use a picture of my 4400 platinum pack in the meantime just to get things online.

Snowsurfer: I still think your current packs would be probably be fine BTW

Which is the best lipo pack for your heli is a bit like asking which is the best gyro. One thing I look for is longevity when making a decision as some pack appear to be great for a while but really die off quick. The revvos appear to last well from my own experiences. The oldest pack I own has probably had over 150 cycles.

Jason: I can't say why you found your 18Cs hard to 3D with. The video you saw was with one of my old packs and it's got nowhere near the power of the platimums. You just have to go a little easier on the collective

2450mAh 30c 11.1v LiPo Battery RC For Helicopter 450 WF on eBay, also Helicopter Parts Accessories, Helicopters, Radio-Controlled, Toys Games (end time 01-Jun-09 12:50:00 BST)
Those are the same packs I am using, although they dont cost £6.50 they are closer to £15 with the postage

Still good value and mine have pleny of power when compared to my old 15c 1800mah packs. Im not sure how long they will last, probably not all that long if you discharge them at 30C.

I am considering some Zippys for the Logo 500,i can get 2 off 6s 5000 25c ones from HKG delivered for £190 or a knats whisker over £100 for one.

Would be interested in hearing how the 2200`s perform
