Your obviously teaching him well James......

......the grass at the DMHC is long outside the flying line, but sadly made no difference to the landing of some helis that ditched today.....mind you these guys were flying on the rails.......
      Cheers Eddie

        Snap! Mikee.
It was me that stuck the BEAM in today.
Made one hell of a thump. Full power not enough time to hit hold.
Radix blades, feathering shaft, flybar and one-way sleeve sheered.
Everything else fine (I have the hardened main shaft which didn't bend).
        Tough birds indeed.
        Adrian.

          Almost back

          Repair update.

Almost repaired the Beam, not having much time to spend on it but in the final stages now.

Thanks to Rob at Evo, fantastic service as always.
Got my bits through nice and quick.

Hope to be in the air by the end of the week.

Must have been a day for crashes, I put my Rappy in as well, not much damage just blades, flybar, feathering shaft & one ball link. Was trying piro's and just lost control somehow & dumb thumbed it!! Oh well should have it flying tomorrow!

My beam seems to fly better now after the minor rebuild.. weird or what.. as I did'nt really alter any setting enough to make that much difference

Sorry to hear you had a crash, but good to hear the damage wasn't too bad. Although it's always annoying when you do blades.

All my ins have been just shafts with only the last one bending the boom.

Might be worth checking the bearings particularly the tail and mainshaft.
