help, whats going on with my esc

my scorpion esc is acting up and have no idea how to fix. basically I used to get arming bleeps and now all of a sudden I dont yet I can spool up but now the power seems to be retricted any ideas anyone?

sounds like one of the motor wires has failed/disconneted; i.e. only 2 of the phases are working, this would give those symptoms. have a carefuly check of the connections between motor and esc

have checked the connections and it seems fine, has anyone else had this?

is it spooling up in the right direction every time?

yep, its really weird, its like the safety has been taken off. I plug the battery in, straight away I can spool it up but it just doesnt have the headspeed. Maybe it has been damaged from overheating whilst I was setting it up. It did get rather hot.

have you tried to default all settings again ?
i know the 60 a often gives issues and overheats easily

no havent tried that, just phoned Rob and he suggested that but if that fails he is going to pop over at the weekend to have a look

Send it back for repair, it's nackered.

Hi, had a similar problem with my scorpion esc on the beam when it was new, sent it back and they sent me a new 55amp out and it sorted the problem
