Beam E4 Canopies

is there a non glass fibre canopy available for the beam? Im not keen on these type canopies. They are so brittle with them cracking and chipping. Who thought it was a good idea to put something so fragile on something that is bound to be crashed.

I know I could just opt for a plastic align one or similar but I like the shape of the beams canopy and it is the correct fit

Must admit I agree with you, I prefere the plastic canopy on the Beam. I believe they come in White, Black and Red along with the new colour Orange..



and the fibreglass fusuno which does does look great but it does chip as it's a tight fit!

ah I see, as standard then they come with a plastic canopy?

I bought mine used and it came with a fusuno canopy, I thought this was standard and that they were all fibre glass.

great news then im going to order a plastic one

Make sure you don't get the white/silver one as you can't see the bl**dy thing when its in the air.
Red or Orange would be my choice.

get the orange one, red/black one can also be hard to see at a distance

crashed this weekend flying in overcast sky's. went to far and simply could not see tell which way up. . just blurred into black dot.
luckely Beam E4 very hard and only broke skids... 6 Crashes and still same boom.. ehhe

my orange beam canopy arrived today, im a bit dissapointed as the canopy finish is substandard, has paint dots all over it. considering the price im not impressed. should I return it or is this normal?

It should'nt have paint dots all over it for defo, so I would return it for another one!
