Looking good. If you saw my other thread I was asking about what 450 size people were recommending,. at the moment im tossing up between the Rave and the Beam, I want one small enough to mess around inside with and from what I understand the beams smaller than the Rave so it wins there.

Re the gyro, I was using a 401 good gyro, but as has been said they dont like backwards and I do a fair bit of that I swapped over to spartan and they really do lock the tail, after using a spartan I wouldnt go back.

Ok started my mods last night.. shortened the boom supports and added a alloy boom support/clamp... flybar weight and esc should be here tomorrow also added some more silvery skids to heli....... well it was late. lol!!!!!!! also lost the boom support cross bar.. nice touch but not required/needed

Mikee, you might wanna keep the boom brace mate. I've crashed my 450 before due to the boom supports falling down and not being able to land without it tipping over!!!! A boom brace is def worth having bud. :-)

Don't fret woody.. I love my rex's but I defo gonna sort this bugger out to my way of thinking .. sure it's great heli but it does needs some tweaking
