New beam

Well finally got it all together a bit of a steep learning curve, building the beam was pure pleasure went together very well.Its been nearly twenty years since i played with a transmitter they were very basic then, spent a lot of time playing with the settings on my futaba 7c getting all the servos to work the right way round then trying to get the cyclics to work as well, done it know brain damage but learning all the time, Looking forward to the first hover latter on in the week might have to have a pint first to steady the nerves (ha ha) not really goner need a clear head.

I know the feeling. I am almost finished building and getting my Mini Raptor sorted. got the cyclic servos all working in the right direction, but can't seem to get the pitch sorted, hopefully there will be someone to sort this out for me at the club. Can't do the tail servo and Gyro yet as I am missing a 3,8mm ball for the tail servo , ordered some form Midland on Friday hoping they would turn up Saturday but they should be here tomorrow

yea getting the pitch sorted was a bit tricky spent a bit of time on that one got me a pitch gauge and it all came together.

I saw Richie Clarkie's beam today and was very impressed.. so much so that I might break down one of my 450 v2's and build a beam as stable mate for the other

where did you buy the kit and was it just the bare kit or did you get the motor/esc as well

Pitch gauge, one i think I can answer :0

1, Make sure your motor is disconected and power on the heli
2. slide on the pitch gauge about mid way as in pic,
3 eyeball the top of the gauge and with the throttle stick on max it should be 11 Degs when its level with the flybar
4 lock off the screw when leveled and this is the angle, works for + and - pitch

the Beam book says it should be 11 degrees on both + and - pitch
