Has anybody heard any more info on this machine? I have recenly taken owership of a Beam E4 and I have nothing but prasie for it. Its simplicity of design and accuracy in flight is enough to get me excited about the thought of Beam making a 50 size nitro model.

Here's hopeing something will come along soon
    Cheers Matt

I think what Pete said about marketing holds quite a lot of water.
The reason I say this is I went to another flying club's site this Saturday and brought my BEAM with me.
No one knew what it was! There were around 6 to 8 people there and I had to tell them what it was.
On closer inspection many of them could see the quality of the components and also how well it flew (even in quite strong winds!).
By the end of the day I'm sure at least 2 of the people there will be placing orders for a BEAM instead of the 450s they originally had plans to buy.
I know that people on this forum are more in the know and that word of mouth plays a big part too. But as my Saturday experience shows, there is still much ignorance out there and the only way to dispell it is to market the product carefully.
As far as a BEAM 50 goes then sure I would be interested. Would have to look at shifting my 600N first though. To be fair it hasn't missed a beat since I've been using it.
Edit: The only thing I would say about the BEAM is to make the main and tail shafts a little stiffer. I feel they are too soft for my liking.
        Adrian.
