I also bent a mainshaft through to high a head speed, learn't my lesson now and keep the headspeed around the 2700-2800rpm. There are supposed to be hardened shafts available although not shown on Evo RC? Chatting with Rob the mainshafts and feathering shafts are deliberately a little soft to save other components in a crash and I must admit, it's unusual that I crash without breaking main blades

All ready to rumble again now, new shaft fitted and 12t pinion, have wound down the flatline in idle up to 70% and will see how that is when i test it on friday and report back.
The new main shaft that rob sent had been heat treated compared to the original so expect it to be hardened.James
