Although I've not used them yet I've just fitted a set of GLX blades from http://www.captaincrash.co.uk/page_1198013322558.html

I've read good reviews of the range of blades he sells and at £18.95 for a set of carbon blades they're good value, delivery was very fast too.

      Jim, Helis and sensible money........!

...Although I know where you are coming from.....as I use Align 325 woodies on my Twister 3d storm simply cos if I crash and she is my try anything heli....I'm not worried about the inexpensive parts......£8.00 for blades for instance!

Must admit, hopefully the beam E4 will be my next 450 heli......however my thoughts on changing genuine or as gooder 325 blades for anything less on this model......well that, IMHO would be like putting cheap remoulds on a ferrari.....sorry but a great heli like that warrants the best or as good.....
      Cheers Eddie

Funny you say that Jim....my confidence with the cheap Twister Storm 3D is way off the scale opposed to my Trex 500.

It is slowly changing........but everytime I fly.....I will put the TS3D in the air first...then the 500. For example I practised again yesterday tail, side on and a little very little nose in hovering...took her as high as I was comfortable then down and piroed for the first time, practising my orientations.....afraid, I'm not in a race, nor have I money to waste!

          Good luck Jim...
          Cheers Eddie

I e-mailed EvoRC with the same question over a month ago and never got a reply so I'd also be interested in a good answer for this one.

You can't really go wrong with the Align 325 Pro's for what they cost. Even if you are pushing on in your flying they are pretty stiff and if you are just doing basics they can't really be faulted.

Eddie trouble is the beam just flies too dam nice and it still scares me a bit tbh dont really want to go back to an unreliable machine now ive come this far maybe ill just have to spend the money when the time comes

Mark i think you probably had a bit of a conflict of interests with rob at evorc
bloody nice bloke and more than helpful but im sure he would sooner sell his blades (i would)

                cheers Jim

Jim..........totally agree with you and If I had one, I would'nt either...why not try the Align 325 pro as suggested by Smoothound and see how you get on.......if you're still learning what have you got to loose!!!

I think there's a lot of trial and error in everything we do......and keep us updated...

If you crash with the stock blades, they will smash up. I have Radix on mine and I get about 4 - 5 crashes before I need to replace them. I think they are about 28 quid. Also worth considering.
                      Regards,

Jason i can vouch for the fact stockies explode on impact LOL

5 crashes for a set of radix thats a fiver a crash near on cheaper than pro 325s at that money
Maybe worth a look also then

jim - of course it depends on how you crash, if you just fall out the sky you will survive but if you stuff it in at full pelt then nothing will get through that

Not sure what you mean by that comment?

Sent e-mail got no reply, no argument that I'm aware of just didn't get an answer.

I couldn't even find the stock blades on their site at the time which was the other reason I was asking what blades they would recommend, I wasn't asking him to suggest something he didn't sell, just what he did sell that would be good to use.
