Sometime there is an advantage in softer shafts, as you don't break 30 pound blades... 
Also falling out the sky don't help, But I am sure that providing there not bending in flight, it's not a problem..
Also due to part replacement costs, as is this case one set of radix saved covers a complete crash...
Although I would of liked to have seen it bend less,
Been having a look though RR and its seems the normal thing is people expect to be changing shafts on a 450 as a standard every day thing on a crash.
