Think the Beam Swash is a popular upgrade for the Rex, there in stock, just got to find them lol!

Also Been told the beam main shafts are the same size just fitted the other way around.

Free postage but no Beam E4 on the website!

Looking forward to seeing more of this when the site is updated.

I am very tempted I just need to work out how to get one past the missus.

Raptor 30 with OS 32 and AR6100E (flying again)
Twister 3D Storm, DX7 and AR6100. DS285's on the main rotor and S3153 on the tail with a JR G770T.
          Blade CX2, DX7 and AR6100E
          Walkera 4#3B seriously fun
          Walkera 4G3 seriously scary

Apologies, they are in stock and will be on the website shortly. The spares will take a fews days to put up. After you have seen the quality of the parts you will not want to use T-rex parts accept maybe for the V2 metal tail servo mount as this enables easy install of a 9257.

What make is the ESC? (would have been nice to use my Jazz - but I suppose I could sell that anyway)

Jason, The kit can be supplied with or without ESC, the kits are up on the site now!

You can just get the kit and a 2221/8 motor in the brushless section.

Just starting to up load the parts think most will be happy at the prices!

Assuming the Amp draw is not overloading your Jazz, I'd choose it in front of anything else on the market currently

Ah - its only a Jazz 40-6-18 so that motor may be too much for it (45A max draw).

Alternative is to use the 430XL out of the trex, any opinions on that?

Well quite a few parts up on the web site now, I was going to ask when you would get past 14 parts (as I was interested in the more common crash parts) but I see it is up to 20 now with pictures

Just compared the costs of the common parts of the Trex against the Beam.

Beam comes out £5 quid cheaper per crash on the common components. I couldnt include the main shaft as the price isnt up yet on the web site, the Trex one is 5.81 for a pack of 3.

I am closer to buying one, just going to check out the Helifreak vids and make my mind up... any idea when your last Saturday courier pick up is Andy?

What setup did you go for? ESC/Motor/Servos gyro etc?

I went for the base kit and the 2221-6 motor, I am planning on using my HS65 servos, Jazz 40-16-18 and GY401 from the now in bits Trex.

I am trying to put together a bit of a build blog, hopefully starting the build tomorrow night all being well.

You can find my first impressions here:

I'm not too familiar with your choice of ESC but I would have chosen the rest also.

I am gonna have to start saving.
