Lee, It flies like it is on rails and much better than any other 450 I have flown including the Rex V2. My 450 V2 is now sold.

The quality of parts is simply outstanding. No discernable slop and very smooth - reminds me of kasama parts. It helps having a Scorpion 2221-6 and 55A ESC too

Yip good motor and ESC choice there m8, got that ESC and the -8 in my Mars. I was gonna say mind the metal reminds me of kasama gear also. Would love to see that fly mind. No chance you can get us a video of it in action? How much are the kits and where from?

Mind you, I think i'm finished with 450's. After getting my 500 I just can't be arsed to take the 450 out any more.

I also like the look of the Beam but matching Align spares prices will take some beating..

Further information should hopefully be available in the next week or so. From what I understand, the kits and spares are likely to be in the "affordable range" and not far off the Trex 450 SE V2 on price.

I have done a bit of analysis on the parts costs for the Beam against two candidate helis, the Trex 450SEV2 and the new G5. It comes out pretty well.
