      Yes,

Just built one up and I can say that the quality of machining is akin to the upper end 90 size machines - Henseleit 3DNT, JR Sylphide etc. It really is that good. Silky smooth and zero slop throughout. I did have some teething problems with the main shaft and gear but this is now sorted.

And flight performance, well put it this way, it kills the 450 V2 dead. The jump in performance between the Rex 450 V2 and the Beam is approx the same diffence between an old style Zoom and the Rex 450 V2.

The Beam E4 and the new Curtis Rave are going to take the top spot from the 450 V2 with regards to quality and flight performance. No doubt Align will respond at some point but I just got fed up of having to replace parts due to the excessive slop that develops in align models after only a short number of flights.

Just do a search for Beam E4.

Whats the pricing like on this new heli - kits and spares?
I've read about it but not seen anything?

        Cheers,

Looks very nice and the US sites harp on about it being cheap, but couldn't google any UK sites selling it.

Raptor 30 with OS 32 and AR6100E (flying again)
Twister 3D Storm, DX7 and AR6100. DS285's on the main rotor and S3153 on the tail with a JR G770T.
          Blade CX2, DX7 and AR6100E
          Walkera 4#3B seriously fun
          Walkera 4G3 seriously scary
          Phoenix Sim with Blade 400.

If you like it loud and dirty, only Nitro will really hit the spot!

Yeah I had the same issues about availability etc - Andy mentioned it to me on the phone the other week but there doesnt seem to be much support in the UK.

As andy has one, are climbout going to do them?
Are they going to carry spares?

The beam swash fits the trex head and maybe other bits do too. I wonder how much a complete beam head is...

The beam heli looks really good, they use the same drive system as the Dragonus 450 (a crazily overlooked heli which I personally fly and think they fly far better than a trex 450).

I'm not in the market now for another 450 rather a 500 but this Beam 450 looks to be better if not on par with the Dragonus.

Does look a treat mind but i think Curtis's Rave should be better.
I know that finless on the other forum highly recommended it.

I understand a UK distributor is now on board and it should be available in the UK with full parts support shortly.
