Today I had a couple more flights with my converted Hirobo SDX and I am really liking the whole 600 size electric 'thing' in general. What size packs are you using? I'd be curious to know the ready to fly weight as well.

I am very temped to see if I can shift one or two of my other helis and get either the Beam or the Compass 6HV.

i have renewed the domain name and the web hosting for one year yesterday.

Website is back online at Beam Helicopters

Reason why it was down, is simply because i bought personally the domain name and hosting, and installed wordpress to put infos about the Beam E6.

I will try to find the remaining one ways i milled in france ( they are complete ready to mount) and ship them to Fast Lad, i was supposed to do it something like in June 2012 but had quit Rc world for some time. I'll pop a message here once the one ways are shipped to Fast Lad

Paul, i have sent you the domain and hosting " keys" and will also send them to Fast Lad if they wish to keep the website updated with new offers, spare parts and others maybe ?

      Best regards,
      fabien
      Hi Fabian,

I noticed the site is back, though it's not displaying. If you need any web help then just PM me.

I didn't receive any info for the domain either?

Fast Lad isn't far from where I live, so it they want to help that would be great.

There seems to be more E6 videos appearing, so fingers-crossed it becomes more popular!

I've got some 3000mah 30c Optipower batteries, mainly because they're perfect for CoG. The performance of Optipower batteries is pretty good too!

So, is there room under the canopy to set them a bit more forward? I have 2600mah packs right now that I would want to use. I like the layout of the Beam, it's different and in some ways looks very convenient but does have the minor downside of not being able to move the packs around like you can when they're horizontal in the frames. But if you could maybe place some hard foam against the frames so they sit a bit more forward, provided there's room, maybe slightly smaller packs would work.
