cluch upgrade help

hi all im having a mare and need some more advice

1 way on my 700 clutch was a bit slippy in the cold but no bad enough that u couldn't start it (after 1st start really wernt a prob )

any ways clutch flung a shoe so I took clutch and bell off spare heli as its getting a new clutch any way. slipping was exactly the same so ordered 2 new starter shafts and waited patiently for lynx clutches to come about. In the mean time 5 flights flung shoe soo order 2 lynx clutches fitted new lynx liner and fitted brand new starter shaft and bearings gone down field and well...... 1 pop from engine then free wheeling pop spin pop spin blah blah blag lol took me about 20 mins to get it to fire then a nother min or 2 for it to actualy run (end of flight I re started it and just when home with smile wiped :'(


is there any mod i.e other kit parts from other companies I can try (I dunno what is faulty here starter shaft or linx 1 way starting to loose my happiness for helis

any suggestions welcome just wanna hassle free fly

This sound slike either the one-way bearing in the clutch shoe or much more likely the starter cup spinning on the starter shaft... a problem i had at one time despite taking aggressive action and filing heavy flats on the thing... ended up with the spinning grub screws grooving the starter shaft to the point it snapped. I finally sorted that by deepenign the new start shaft dimples a bit and new dog-point grub screws

I flat spotted shaft b4 I fitted it its defo 100% slipping in 1 way soon as it turns engine over once it slips u get 1 pop never a few pops b4 slip like b4 looks like I gonna have to pay postage again to send it back

its a common problem, the clutch is the only bad point for the 700 imo, we have an electrical contact cleaner that we use at our club to solve the slipping 700 clutch's lol.Spray directly into the bearing through a straw and it grips instantly WITHOUT FAIL Ive scince fitted a lynx clutch and have had no problems although we have had those slip too.

it needs to go directly into the bearing,through the cut outs with the straw in the clutch bell. just a little squirt don't drown it

my lynx 1 way was shot after 1 run up, ended up putting the align 1 way into lynx clutch, no problems after that
