Trying to sort out dodgy tail only 700N, up until practice recently for grass roots I didn't even think there was a problem as it only shows during a knifedge piro.

Basically when you hit the rudder there is a hesitation for about an 1/8 of the turn then it whips around, but the delay is long enough to completely ruin the manouver.

im running the 700 with a silverline Vbar and on all the Vbars im running this is the only machine there seams to be an issue. ive been through settings and nothing looks out of place, ive checked the mechanics and everything is moving ok without too much slop,

so guys apart from not doing knifedge piros any thoughts on where to look?

If your sure that everything is set up correctly then could you have a weak servo tony? had to replace one in mine this week for the same reasons. Can you move the horn with your fingers when its powered up?

All flybarless helis of various flavours show this issue, feed the piro in slowly and it will go round no problem. Stick a handful in and it'll go nowhere then whip round. BeastX, V bar various helis same thing, it's as if when you go knife edge the tail has already fed in rudder in order to hold the attitude, especially against gravity, then when you ask it to go the other way there is no tail authority ie tail against the direction of flight. I bet it's fine in forward flight

I have no idea about the vBar, but on many other gyros with multiple options, there are often a pair of settings that control how aggressively the control accelerates and decelerates on a stick input.

Might be worth increasing the acceleration profile setting if there is one?
