I decked my 700 yesterday when one of the tail pitch arm bolts backed out. Considering the weird swinging tail and being a bit low and slow on the uptake trying to figure what was wrong the resulting auto and hard landing could have been worse.. just the skid bows, vertical fin and knackered old auto practice blades and a dent in the muffler whch also bent the manifold enough to cause a bit of binding on one throttle arm - which I filed off.
The annoying bit is that you can't get just the replacement brass bush that inserts into the pitch link. I couldn;t find anything better than a piece of aerial tube plastic to make a temporary one with for the moment but ordered a length of brass tube from ebay to make a real replacement with..it'll take a few days to arrive and the plastic should hold up for a few flights
