I wouldn never use the Align 2 in 1 again!!

On my 600 im using the FlightTech 10 amp reg
On my 700 im using the Gryphon Gryphon VEGA Regulator 10A Linear Voltage Regulator GVR-5010
I dont use an auto glow as i want to save weight on the heli so i just use a glow extension and external glow driver

When I had a RX I used them and it worked from my TX...but never sorted how too get it too work with the V bar...the extreme reg only does 4 servos at the set voltage so you will have too run the throttle at 5.2 but thats know big deal...with the Vega you just set the voltage and plug the 2 power leads into the V Bar very simple and no patch leads...then take the power from a spare port for the mini booster.....

ok,ive got a hv on the throttle so the extreme would be ok but the vega does sound like a neater installation, mini booster should be good also,no messing about trying to get it sorted with the tx/rx
cheers chris and john, think it'll be the vega and mini booster

For what reason would you not use again chris? serious failure? reason i ask is ive had the original align 2 in 1 fitted on one of my 700,s for well over a year and half with no problems whatsoever! but i do have a flightpower 8a reg here looking to be fitted ,would you recommend it

I used to use them before and I dont recall any issues but have heard of may failures with them.

% wise its prob quite low??

the only thing i've seen anybody moan about is the switch, i've been using one myself for a wee while and i've had no problems at all so far.
