Yes they are the same. Mine slipped and I put a heavy duty Quick UK one and it works better than stock.

Quick UK clutch and standard liner here, after blowing up two stock liners with the align clutch in about 20 flights.

Id say deffo get the quick UK one without a doubt. Its so much better, it really makes a difference,

          Guys,
Its the gap on the clutch liner thats the prob, theres nothing wrong with the stock clutch atall.I have had 100s of flights on 700ns without problem aslong as the gap is set correctly.
Just a heads up to try and save you some money.

          cheers

True - the gap was bigger with the stock clutch then the Quick UK one.
So anjki - how do you go about reducing this gap?

Unfortunatly i have found that all new clutch bells for the 700 are the same,so before using them i scrape the old liner out and re glue a new liner in.Use your clutch with 1 layer of insulation tape on it and force it in the bell while the glue is wet. This will spread the linner to alow a small gap around the clutch.
When dry, remove clutch and tape and clean up any access glue. You will probably find that the clutch will drag a little at first but it will bed in perfectly very quickly.
Never lost a clutch, and my models spool up properly,so its a worthwile mod to do.

              cheers

                700n 700n DFC clutches?

Use a lynx hd liner, 0.4 mm thicker and better material.
