700N Vbar Silverline unstable flight and tail wag...
Funnily enough Tony I just gave them a twiddle on the way to bed. You can definately feel that one of them is loose at the frame end (As opposed to tail) as I can rotate the rod by a little bit.
Do they really cause these sorts of issues? There's barely any movement in it!
I will pin it but I'm interested if you had the same experience as me? My old 700E had a brace halfway up the supports but this one does not. do you think that may also help?
You definitely need to pin them, as i say the slightest bit of movement will be amplified through the tail in my experience. ive had it with every single set of align boom supports ive had. Didnt realise what the problem was at first but was experiencing a violent wag during things like rapid decents and pie dishes etc... It was even leading me to believe my engine was out of tune as the noise from the tail made the engine sound as if it was leaning out.
Dont know wether its causing your rolling symptoms but ill bet its causing your tail symptoms.
Btw, dont just pin the loose one pin all four.
