Actually no I don't , I stop it using throttle cut ,immediatly clamp the fuel inlet and pull the vent pulg to the fuel tank.

I also hang my heli in my heli cupboard on its skids hanging nose up , so maybe that doesn't help ?!

Very good thread and good advice from Rachel.

I'm new to Nitro and recently have been tuning this engine with the help of a very experienced member of my club. I think I may be having a similar problem - no fuel coming out of the carb, but it has coughed and spluttered and become rich in mid flight to the point that it lost power and then regained it shortly afterwards.

I noticed that on my first outing it was perfect. On my second outing it was not as good.
My question is - do you think that after run oil makes a difference as it started off like a bag of spanners the second time I flew it and didn't seem to run as well as the first? Could this be clogging things up?

Check the engine manual, I seem to recall they recommend purging all the fuel from the regulator for the last flight, or maybe I read it on helifreak. In any case I do it with all my nitros since methanol attracts water so you don't want any leftovers in the engine if you are not using it for a while.

Also for regulated engines it prevents oil buildup in the regulator, or so I heard
