  • Are FBL washout arms supposed to be 'warped'?..

Continuing on with the saga of trying to put back together a second hand 600NSP, im trying to sort out the FBL head.

The washout arms look bent to me, and im not sure they are supposed to be like this.

    Can anyone advise please?.

    Thanks

    James

    they are bent.

I had this on my 500, whenever you get a rollover, the swashplate bearing drops down, the black ball link bit in your picture then hits the swash, stopping the rotation but the inertia from the main blades causes it to keep spinning a bit, warping those arms.

Defo bent, but do what I've done umpteen times, put a small adjustable on the narrow end and tweak them square.

But they bend in opposite directions, I confused

Edit : Just looked at mine and yes if they twist one way they will both bend outwards, I not confused any longer
