sorry to go off topic slightly, but just wondered if you've had any issues with bubbles entering your carb with your 120 john?

Mine feels gorgeous with a DFC head as well only a OS91 but it still has plenty of power to it

I have 2 120s one that happens to be in the 700 runs fine never a problem and a pleasure too have, the other has not been so kind I did fly it today and got it going well enough it does respond too tuning, I am hoping it just needs plenty of fuel through it for it too settle down as it has had periods of just sitting there while V Bars get fixed and parts made for the G4 it has also had a rebuild due too my own fault, I use the Q UK bung too seal the blank off on the 700 tank and a lynx nipple upgrade on the tank so there are no leaks, header tanks I have tried them all, I am using a raptor H/tank with a Q/uk nipple with a peace clunk tube stretched over the nipple 1st before inserting it in the rubber seal, this also is now holding the pressure without leaking, I am also using OS bubble less clunks, but I got too say even if the tank does leak the engines seem to run ok, if they are not happy there is no mistaking it it lets you know in a very obvious fashion by banging the tail back and forth, next time out I will see if there is any air in the clear peace of tubing as far as I can remember there could well be some.......

Mine has been spot-on for around 8 gallons then started to ping lean after half a tank had been used, your right about the engine letting you know when its not happy though.
Luckily i could see straight away what the problem was, big bubbles in the tubing so i stuck a header tank on with a bubbless clunk in it, kept the magnet in the main tank though and that sorted it right out. Runs sweet again thank god.
Im sure you can get bubbless filters too so might stick one of those on for good measure
Ive got about 10 gallons through it now and i reckon thats whats needed to get them run in and running consistent
