I just bought myself my first nitro and it’s a very steep learning curve so far. I’ve just bought the combo kit complete and it’s come with the rce regulator with ignition switch. I’ve been told that’s not the best way to go though and its best to use the 2s lipo direct to the fbl. Does anyone here use a regulator? I’m also confused how to set up the throttle servo. The engine lever (servo arm thing) turns 90 degrees or so from closed to open so how does that correspond to the throttle servo itself? And what port does the throttle servo plug into on a Neo? I assume I’m going to have to August throttle servo travel for it somehow?

Make sure your kit has the new upgraded idler gear case and bearings. You can tell easily because the new case has a hole in the side for lubrication access, plus the bearings on the front idler are larger than the rear. If you dont have the new part contact your dealer because Align are sending out free replacements.
This is the new part:
Goblin Kraken, SoXos Strike 7, XLPower Specter, Goblin Black Thunder T, Goblin 700 Speed, Goblin 770 Comp Carbon, Trex 700X, Kasama Dune, Henseleit TDR

Hi
Throttle servo plugs into the esc port
Make sure the Neo is pro as you need this for the nitro gov
Make sure you have the Vbar Neo Nitro Gov app installed on the v control
Use the Model Setup/Governor to set the end points of the servo
This should get you started....

Cool that helps a lot. The nipple on top,of the tank, where does that fuel pipe go to? It’s not really clear in the manual, not for me anyway lol.Originally posted by Nitro Head View PostHi

There’s a fuel pipe nipple on the bottom of the engine I just seen. OS105 it is so I assume that’s what you mean?Originally posted by waveydavey View PostIt needs a link to the pressure output from your engine, usually on the backplate. There should be a one way valve that goes in between also, around 100mm from the back plate.Align Trex 700XN VBar Neo with Pro Rescue

It is, you should also have a little aluminium thing about 8mm in diameter with 2 nipples and knurled on the outside, this needs to go the right way round 100mm from the backplate, if there's no arrow on it then blow through it, if you can this is the direction to install it, if not reverse it, 1 way check valve
Then add another length of fuel pipe to the other side onto the nipple on the top of the fuel tank

There is a useful diagram on page 21 of the manual, that explains the plumbing.
http://www.os-engines.co.jp/english/...ax_105hz_r.pdf
this should help.

So when I setup the throttle servo to the engine, is the best way to centre them both, put the servo arms on parallel and then sort end points on the radio? Sort of the same way as the swash would be done?Align Trex 700XN VBar Neo with Pro Rescue
