  • longer torque tube?

Can anyone tell me if there is a Torque tube for the Trex 700N that is around 800mm long? (just measured from the tube part, not the ends.)

The stock 700N TT is 780mm and I need something 800mm (It's about 825mm from tip to tip so I need something 845mm if measuring from the very ends)

There are other model variations, DFC, 700L dominator etc. but I have yet to see specs showing the length of the TTs for those other models.

The 700N DFC tailboom is 800mm and the torque tube for it is Pt H7NT004XXW. I cant find a length for the torque tube though.

The DFC tail is 15mm longer than the non dfc so if your saying the standard non dfc tt is 780mm then the dfc tt is 795mm long

you can always make up one out a arrow shaft, as you know that is what Kasama used.

You might have to shave the feathers off it though.

Yeah, if the DFC boom is 800mm then the TT has to be 15mm longer than the stock 700n item, so it should be perfect (or close enough for rock 'n roll anyway).

I actually bought a couple arrow shafts but the size is ever so slightly different and it's just too much of a hassle to fit the TT ends and I'd be sanding them by hand etc. when they really need to be done on a lath. So in this case I'd rather just buy something that will fit.

What about the 800 Trekker, it's TT must be longer, possibly too long but you could cut it down.

I used a cut down 700 TT on my stretched Trex 600 Pro: Unscrew the end fitting (left hand thread), cut the tube down the TT, sand off the threads on the end fitting so it's a tight push fit into the cut tube and fix with red Loctite. Drill through and put a small bolt through for extra security. Mine has been like that for almost two years and no problems.
