  • 800E Pro white landing skids....

    Hi all

Just a quick one, bought some of theses as I thought they would look ace on my 700 nitro, anyway they arrived but when I took them out I saw that there were two locating holes but unfortunately the undrilled holes(marked location) are still way too short.Went back on line to double check they were for nitro and its states 700n as well.
Now I've got the original 700n,question has any one else fitted these to there 700n and if so did they fit or did you have to make some modification to them

    Many thanks

    Hi Rob,

They fit the DFC but the original N which I have a set on require mods. There is just enough to dremmel down the outer portion but just leaving a lip and drill to fit. Bit of a pain but possible.

Head is the RJX 12mm. I integrated the swash drivers, lowered using the DFC main shaft, fitted 3G E bell cranks and elevator Arm. I kid you not this Heli flies on rails in fact I'd go as far as to say hard to beat. Surprised even myself with this round of tinkering.

The RJX 700 is one of the best flying helis that I've seen come through Maj's hands, and there's been a lot, doesn't even look like a Trex in the air and it flys really precise.

Looks too clean Rob and your dremmel work is way better than mine very neat :-) Enjoy your 700 looks good. I find the black mod 1 slant gear set 8.0:1 and the OS105 a great match in the N.

                              Hi Maj

I have cleaning issues, I've got the mod 1 upgrade too install but have been a bit lazy and have really enjoyed flying her as is. As a mater of interest where did you end up with your needle settings. Mine are 1 on mid an 11/4 plus a click on top, runs so well and still as cool as can be on 20% slv opti
