OK Guys, I've searched and searched but can't find help on this and having problems relating other peoples solutions to my query(s).
I'm completing a build on a 700N DFC and am trying to set up the Align governor.
Governor is connected to the Throttle channel on the Rx and the separate yellow data wire connected to Aux3
Currently in the Tx I have a Normal Throttle Curve and have IU1 at 80% (flat) and IU2 at 85% (flat and arbitrary at the moment)
Throttle has had its end points in the Tx adjusted to match the mechanical carb limits.
Gov was then calibrated from min to max and the unit seems to have accepted the programming.
On the Tx I've allocated a 3 way switch to the Gov and also assigned it to Aux3
The governor settings in the TX are currently set at -50 (Gov off) +85 (position 2) and +90 (position 3). These are again arbitrary at the moment but would welcome to actual figures to start if anyone has them.
Using the settings above the TX controls the Gov in that I can switch it on and off - LED Red and Green. I can also see Aux 3 switching in the TX monitor screen and that the values do change as programmed).
Now the dumb question(s);
When the Gov is switched on, say position IU1, does the governor take is input from what I've programmed in IU1 (80%) OR does it from what has been programmed in the governor settings (+85%) in the example. ie does the gov switch switch the gov on AND also set the ATV level?
I assume the gov only enables when it is switched on AND throttle is >30% - manual isn't clear enough for me!
Thanks in advance
Stuart
