  • 700n Upgrade links

    Hi,

Does anybody know of a kit that i can purchase to upgrade all the links on a 700n flybarless to 3mm rods and better links?

My stock ones wear too quick and i just dont trust them, i know quick uk do rocket links but they still use the original rods.

    Cheers

    Stan

Personally I wouldn't bother, links are links and balls are balls and theres nothing wrong with the align rods and linkages as they are imo. Ive used the quk ones and they wear out just the same as the align. Trick is to keep an eye on them and replace as needed. As for the Rods, what don't you trust about them?

If 3mm link, are not big enough/ don't trust for some reason(half the population flys with them. Convert to dfc head.

I've been using the Quick UK upgrade kit now with standard rods for several years now.
Only a weekend flyer but haven't had to change any of them.
Using a RJX head and haven't got around to thinking about the DFC head yet.

          700n Upgrade links

Hi, don't like the rods because there isn't a much going into the links, the swash is dead level and zero degrees pitch on the blades and the rods just aren't quite long enough in my opinion. The links feel very sloppy too. On my Rave the links are chunky and have a solid feel to them.

i got a head off here second hand and only had 1 link as previose owner landed in a rape seed field but he supplied a new pack of links now these are a real nice tight fit. (the link that was on the head was very loose in the ball link ) and im sure its a mm or 2 longer
