  • 600E Pro Flybar Version possible manual error

    Hi,

I am building my 600E Pro (flybar version) and I think I may have come across a error in the manual. On page 13 - Elevator Arm Ball Link holes, The zoomed in picture has "use the inner hole" yet the caution note below says the inner hole (a) is for the flybarless system. I download the flybarless manual to see what that states, and it says to "use the outer hole" and no caution note.

    Not sure what to do

Has anybody else noticed this ?
and if you have a flybar version which hole did you use ?

    Cheers

    Steve

As above. I think Align messed up the geometry slightly, if you use the inner holes be vary careful on the extremes as the links can bind and pop off. From what I've seen, both flybar and flybarless use the outer holes.
        Cheers,

Yep another cockup on this heli,I am using the inner holes on my fbl one with travel limits set accordingly as the ball ends will hit the servo case and pop off.

Thanks for the info. I will use the outer holes. I also noticed when adding in the servos I had to use the rubber grommets otherwise the servo plate did not fit flat when screwed down. Did you guys have the same problem ?

            Cheers

I think it shows them in the instructions, so I put them in.
              Cheers,

Yep nothing is said about them but the picture looks like they are fitted.

On the servo arms did you use the short or long linkage balls ?

                  Cheers
