  • T-Rex 600 DFC Head speeds for 3D flight?

    Hi everyone,

Just curious to know what other people are running for head speed on 600 sized machines for 3D flight?

atm mines set to 2,400 which seems nice but like I say, just curious on what others are running and if it would be better going a little higher?

    Cheers

Lol my nitro DFC is at iu1 2050, iu2 2150, I can only dream of 2400.

      I have mine at 1800, 2000 and 2250

I very rarely use 2000, 2250 is nice & gives me an easy 5:00 off 3600 packs. 1800 is good to pootle about and warm my thumbs up.

but I don't have the nice scorpion motor like you lol. Just a 600mx

Just remember that the 600pro has been designed to run a high tail speed. It will 'pootle' about quite happily at lower headspeeds but don't push it as you will lose the tail.

Yes i hope the hinted new Align 600 electric comes with a proper tail ratio and can run 620s.

I run my DFC heads down at 1800rpm ish also,no issues.

Cheers guys, will probably stick to around 2,400 - bit unsure what the maximum is though. Should probably dig out the manual =/
