Thanks Jay, you just saved Sunny's backside. Lol

From you pics it looks like you have them at a slight angle is that necessary ?

            Thats not the best solution.

The antennas shouldnt be shielded at all by the carbon frame.

I had them 90 degrees from each other or there abouts! i am sure with the spektrum receivers it says the sat should be 90 to the rx so i kind of used that method!

I have one on the bottom tray sticking out the back and the other stuck to the side frame 90 deg out to the bottom one.

Maybe I've been VERY lucky, but after reading the above post by Sacko and then checking all my heli's,it seems I've installed all my rx sat's badly as in all cases, the wires/antenna are shielded by various bits of carbon and in one case by the reciever battery on my 700!!!.

Looks like boxing day is now SERIOUS heli maintenance day,,,,,,
                      Merry xmas peeps

@sacko thank you for the link. It was a very very good read. I'll certainly be adhering to the points in that article when it comes to mounting my rx gear.

Will post more build pictures soon.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my fellow Heliaddicts.

Seen that a lot of pilots mount them on the frames! Jst looking on Alan sazbo on Facebook he just mounts them on the frames aswell!

Better safe than sorry I guess! But I will jst leave mine as me n my mates have had no issues!
