Sure does. Slightly depressing having a 6 month old 550 that will be 2 generations old when the dominator lands, but hey, that's life. It certainly looks like it can rip though, mind you I think that Kenny could fly a brick and make it look good.

Some interesting changes there as I'm sure you all have spotted. I also see the servo geometry has been updated too. Looks nice

But I guess my 6S 730MX is much more than I can handle anyway so I will content myself with that! Looks to be a good upgrade for anyone who can happily throw about the existing 550's though!

This is only one of the reasons I don't buy Align no more

I like that when I get the latest and greatest it is that at least till I sell it or for a decent amount of time.

As you say, 6 months and it's old hat and will have no value.

Looks pretty good, I like the new layout. Looks a little easier to work on.

More a bashing of the frequency of which Align refreshes the line up than anything else. It's put a few model shops off stocking them from what I hear.

Yes I would agree with that everyone wants the latest one, leaving model shops with the old version and having to reduce the price.

It is a good thing that they are coming out with new ideas and constantly evolving / improving the product line. Its not like they are forcing anybody to go out and buy the latest model.

ive still got a v1 550 that I converted to dfc, i'm in the market for a replacement I hope its out soon though
