got a new canopy for my trex450 but the fit isnt that brilliant, it needs a bit of the canopy ground away around the swash area and i think it will benifit from having the holes repositioned further back, seen plenty of threads regarding te trex 450 canopys being a bit tight, do you think these problems are acceptable .
or could the people making them do a bit more to make them a better fit.

Hold it over a steaming kettle and you will be able to reshape it. You will need to keep it in shape til it cools

ive tried the steaming idea but it still too tight and really needs some trimming, its a shame but the drimmels coming out

Get some CNC canopy grommets and then make the holes a little further back. The anodised area will cover the old holes and allow more space for the battery and swash

Also fit the battery so that the wires are facing the swash, use a velcro strap to keep them away from the swash once they are connected to the ESC so they dont interfere with flight
