Hey.
How old is the model and ESC, eg. is it still in warrenty for instance?
There are many 250's flying on the stock ESC all ok, so I am wondering if you just have a defective ESC which needs replacing.
If you were going to change something then maybe look at a better ESC with BEC built in, as this is where the problems are coming from.
