right trex 600n nearly all set up now just need to test the gyro in the 450 and im away,

question is what fuel to use in the 600n with an hyper 50, not into 3d just hovering and gently moving about for now, same fuel as my raptor 30 which is coolpower 15% i think

I'm not a fan of CoolPower - I'd suggest sticking with your Magnum Craig.

Using magnum 20% here, only thing i was asked recently was "is it normal to have so much smoke?" On a calm day you might struggle to see your heli in a low hover

nothing wrong with cool power..i dont use any of the mentioned fuels(we use tornado)so if you can get cool power easier then try it..and if you can support your model shop in the deal then even better too
ive tried all the common fuels and like them all to be honest.i just like tornado at the moment..5 litre tins..(like alan szabo fuel tins)its a really nice red colour and my engines cool and powerful.i get it easy(i sell it)so that means nowt lol
id try cool power mate how do you know unless you try it

i have used both coolpower and magnum, both ok as far as i can tell but the magnum is cheeper hence why i now use that

Here's a sweeping statement:

All the fuel mentioned will be fine.

The main things is that you tune your engine correctly ensuring that the baseplate NEVER gets hot. One other thing to look for is a reasonable oil content. For hovering and basic flight 18%+ is what you are looking for. Ideal would be over 20%.

You will find that everyone has different opinions and all are right, however you need to buy based on affordabilty abd availabality too as I wouldn't recommend keeping changing fuel once you have got a working setup you are comfortable with.

Personally I would look for either 15 or 20% of whatever fuel and stick with that.
