      Pasted from my other post:

I now have 3 2100 18c batterys and 3 new 2200 25C batteries to run in my t-rex 450 SE V2. All I can say is they are mindblowing . There is a good step up in performance over the 18C ones. This is only really noticed when doing tic-tocs or full pitch climbs however. They fly like the 18C ones do for the first 60 seconds, except they keep delivering the power thorughout the flight. In my mind they were more consistent in their power delivery.

I was very pleased with my 18C 2100's and will keep using them, but these new packs have made the 2100's redundant for future pack purchases. Don't get me wrong the 2100's can still tic-toc fine, but the 2200's deliver more punch, and seem to hold the headspeed better.

In my mind if you are a sports flyer the 2100's are a good choice. If you can do tic-tocs or intend to get a 500 in the future the 2200 25C's are the only way to go. They really are a good step up in performace over the 2100's, and I wouldn't want anyone getting the 2100's saving £7, and thinking they are almost as good....because there not !

I know what you're saying Martin - no worries.
Worth bearing in mind they will answer the phone between 8am and 10pm (taken from their website )

Its easy to think everyone thinking of buying a trex lipo is reading here.
That is not true at all.
readers here are probably only a very small percentage of potential customers.
So actually putting the product on the website with a ref to a thread like this is actually what Mike should be doing without delay!
For over 90% of (potential) customers, a product not listed in an advert and not listed on the website just doesn't exist at all!
For example the poster put all the best lipos he knew of in this poll, but the "non existant" evolution 2200 3 cell didn't make it into the poll. Though the product has been flying for some people here for 2-3 months I think? (since before the 500 came out?)
Maybe Mike only wants to sell to his close friends and a few pilots "in the know"!

guys, the reason the 500 packs are not on their website is we have not fully finished testing them yet and he doesn't want to advertise "500 pack" when he can't definitively say they will do x or y. everyones testing is all but complete so details will be added.

yes others have posted their offerings but imo no one else has got a pack right yet we know fact works and i'm more than confident the other brands will follow our path with circa 3000 packs. 2500fp is the only one that comes close in 6s guise to the 3200 rev performance and even then, the mah's are too low imo. mike is doing more himself than the other brands put together for testing. if we all had no jobs it would be done quicker but alas, work calls so testing takes longer. however the 6 weeks or so we have been trying batteries helps others pick the right one. i could easily recommend a battery to anyone now and be confident about how it will perform.

            cheers

Mike has told me that his policy is not to put new packs on the website until he has all the required feedback to ensure that the product will deliver as advertised. The 2200 cells, 3200 and 4200 are all still undergoing tests. Once the work is complete they will be on the website. In the meantime you can still buy the cells but Mike will only do so by phone so he can ensure the customer understands the current status of the products and the suitability for the application the buyer intends.

can't blame Mike for that, sounds reasonable that he doesn't want to alienate customers due to misunderstandings.
                All the best

if anyone wants revo 2200's then call mike and he will sell them to anyone and he can provide an update on what they are like. if you have no intentions to get a 500 then i would seriously consider getting 2100 revos if thats the brand you want as these are proven to work and are very light. either that or some of the other popular choices are fp and tp's offerings. whatever you do please avoid the ebay cells.

                  cheers

Which Trex se battery do you recommend?

                    Thanks for in replies guys,

I've invested £14 in a ebay battery already as I thought that £14 isn't really much to risk in the scheme of things. Haven't flown with it yet though. Will probably have initial tests this weekend weather permitting.

                    http://stores.ebay.co.uk/you-want

The only reason the revo 2200 25C battery isn't on the poll was because I never saw it on their website but I take aurrora's point about only putting it on there once its been fully tested. By the sounds of it I'll go for one of the revo 2200 25C one's as there quite a bit cheaper than the flight power equivilent and also this poll has been fairly conqlusive.

                    Cheers
