Hi All,
I've just been setting up a couple of Align ESCs using the 'bleeps' method. Seems simple enough - 5 parameters with 3 settings on each, and all seems to work OK.
Brake / Timing / Cut-off / Governor / Throttle Response all make sense.
One question though please..
Does the ESC remember what it 'sees' as 0% throttle and 100% throttle during this set-up procedure?
Or are they fixed in terms of microsecond pulse widths from the RX and that's that??
Its just that my 500 and 550 seem to have the same head-speed at 90% as at 100%?? Same pitch curve.
I looked around and couldn't see many (any) comments about this??
Finally - the standard Align servos on 450 / 500 / 550 - should they all have the BEC set to 6.0 Volts? Mine seem to be.
Thanks in advance!
Trev
