I had to cut mine as the bend was to great and it got caught on the grub screw nick on the shaft also

my last one was such a pain to get out and I was upgrading the head to a V2 its actually still in the head as we speak rusting at the bottom of the spares bin

MY advice is to cut/dremel the the flybar 10mm from the cage. Then dremel the cut end to a point. This seems to help when pulling it through. She is out!
Infact, I had all the spares, except the canopy and the flybar. So the main gear and shaft are replaced. Head replaced.. blades on... just awaiting the flybar and the canopy. Thanks guys for the help..Trex 500CF - GY401 with S9254, HS-5245MGs, Torque Tube, AR7000..
