T-Rex SE V2 - Rebuilding and need some advice

Hi Everyone

I recently purchased a trex 450 se off ebay that came pre built. After a more detailed inspection, I noticed that the build must have been a "lets just get it done quickly" job. A perfect example of this is that one of the servos only had one screw in and that screw wasnt even sucured properly. Some of the ball links are also extremly loose etc..

So I have decided strip it and rebuild it.

All I would like to know is where is a good model/hobby shop IN london that sells some align parts for the trex, i.e. new ball links (the black plastic parts in particular)?

I dont want to buy online, I would prefer to walk into a shop where I could have a little chat with sales people and maybe get some help from them, and then walk out with what I need

I have searched, but all the shops I find are far out of london and I would prefer not to travel that far every time I want to buy parts

Same story for a lot of us I'm afraid . My 2 local (1/2 plus drive) shops don't stock any T-rex parts unless I order then in.

I almost always use Midland Helicopters and deliveries rarely take more than a few days and they're always willing to give advice on the phone. Same goes for Skyline, and I'm sure many others.
Think the small shops just can't afford to carry the stock for such a wide range of models.

skyline models are very helpfull bit of a treck from london about an hour up the M4 i guess but stock it all

This MS is in Dartford, not a million miles away, they sell T-Rex heli's
and should also stock parts give em a call
