  • Maidened the 450 :)

Just needed a click on aileron and a click on elevator to trim a nice hover, tracking was spot on, hover was great, put 3 batt packs through her in the garden just hovering slowly about.
Was very twitchy so dialled in 20% expo, much better after that, didn't like the curves recommended in the Helifreak video so went back to basic curve and tweaked around to suit myself.
Tried out idle-up, very impressive compared to my Honeybee King, punched throttle up from hover and she tore off into the sky instantly, had to sheepishly bring her back down again, didn't fancy losing her over someone else's garden!
Down to the field tomorrow to practice some small cicruits etc.
    So far so good, v.pleased

Great when a plan comes together ain't it
    Velocity 50
    Synergy N5
    Fury 55 FBL
    Trex 700

Light travels faster than sound, this is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak....

I maidened mine last Sunday also & it has already gone to the top of my best (most liked to fly) Heli list, infront of my Raptor 30 & the 50 se & even infront of the larger Trex 600E.
I'm actualy now able to fly very small eights in front of me no more than 20 foot infront & 30 to 40 to the sides. This thing just inspires me to push myself. I think it is because it doesnt intimidate me if that makes any sence.
Hope you get on ok down the field tomorow mate as it's lashing it down here today roll on the winter hopefully the rain might then abate a little.

Yeah I'm thinking similar thoughts about winter, this summer just hasn't happened - I'm hoping the poxy wind goes away come winter, I should've got into kiting this year or something!
