Trex 600E withe CC85HV

Hi,

Thanks to the good advice of a few members on this forum I've invested in a Z-Power motor amd CC85HV speed controller for my Trex 600E. I flew it today and was very pleased with the results.

Now, with CC85HV I'm running it in High Govenor mode which seems to be working quite well. One minor problem. When I spool up the heli it takes ages for it to get upto head speed. i mean ages, I think I could probably bake a cake in the time it takes to spool up. Any ideas how to speed this up?

I use one of these on mine, when I bought it I also ordered the CC USB thingy so I can configure it from the PC - I'l bung it in the car if I can make it tomorrow.

Hey Thomas,

I've got the link and have checked that the spool up speed is high. I've now just increased it from 8 to 10 in the custom menu. Not too sure if is going to do it though.

I think I just set mine to medium - as Ash did my p45 for me and the pack was flat by the time that spooled up

Will you still go if it rains, I got a days pass so may chance it regardless
