Anyone had much experince with the Precision Tail Set PRO - T-REX 450X/XL/SE?

I am thinking of upgrading my SE tail set as the old one is a little worn and bent out of shape (i am not getting equal blade pitch in both directins either!) - i thought i would treat my self with some bling.

Precision beginnur flying, at the very least it might go with a bang next time i slam the tale int0 the ground - only kidding, i havent done that one in months :-),

Serriosuley though, it seems to be out of stock all over the place - problems in design or too good to keep up with demmand?

I had a load of micro heli stuff on my first Trex - most of it was rubbish - inc the tail.

You'd be be better off getting another Align metal tail box.

This is a bloody good upgrade and makes the tail as good as a V2 even with a plastic box. http://www.align.com.tw/shop/product...oducts_id=1398

If you want the Metal parts version order HS1200 - its about 12 Quid.

One warning though - some folks have had the brass slider bushing come unscrewed = no tail control. Theres a couple of small flats on the brass tube, you can unscrew it and ensure it has a little loctite on it.

Absolutely no point in expensive tail bling any more. Back when the pin used to drop out of the slider on the old grey plastic stuff, maybe. The newer Align stuff is almost acceptable.
