I had a small problem with my 450 this morning. The noticed the belt was looking very tatty (strips of fibre hanging off) so i changed it. I have only done about 10 to 15 batteries as this is my shiny new chopper.
The cause was the idler wheel in the tail gearbox sliding off it's bearing causing the belt to run slightly off the edge. The wheel has taken the anodising off the inside of the gearbox where it rubbed. It's back in the air now after a minor service and a bit of bearing lock on the inside of the idler wheel.
Could be worth checking on any of your models.
