Align B6X External BEC

Decided to fit the B6X external BEC to my 600CF instead of the the supplied B3X BEC. The instruction manual with the B6X states "When using a speed controller with BEC output, you must remove the red wire of BEC output on the speed controller". I've looked through the 600 build manual 'til I've gone cross eyed and cannot find any reference to do the same with the standard B3X so am very confused. Has anyone fitted the B6X to their 600 and if so what did you do ? Thanks in anticipation.

The speed controller on the 600E is Opto, it has no power link to the receiver at all, the red wire isn't connected anyway so just go ahead and fit the 6A BEC.
