    Damned predictive text and auto correct! It would seem that the iPhone dictionary doesn't like the word Judder and automatically replaces it with Huddersfield!

    Anyway, if it beeps and spools like normal out of the machine, it would indicate something is either locking up and requires a bit too much force to overcome this, or you have the gear mesh way too tight.

      I know the feeling - predicative can really get you into trouble sometimes

      meshing is definately OK as checked this several times.

      Thanks for clarifying - I'll take a look and see if I can identify anything that looks a bit dodgy. I was in Idle Up at the time of the 'incident' and not yet got used to the whole idea of hitting the throttle hold - to be fair, at the time I didn't really know what was going on and remember thinking - damn, that's going to be expensive.
