    after more crashes than i care to admit( ok nearly every flight ) i decided to spend the day sorting out my trex.
    ive reset all the servos and linkages lubed up all the bearings and checked just about every last screw nut and bolt. just before i test flew it i went through all the dx7 menus and guess what ive been flying the bugger with o% gyro gain!!!
    its now set to 75% and lo n' behold it hovers!!a bit twitchy but at least im not waggling the sticks like a nutter.

      in the words of marge simpson "im so f*%^!Ng embarassed" just upped the head speed and its even better...what a plonker and i was ready to ditch micros altogether

      any newbys reading this take note of every thing these guys say it will save you piles of dosh!!!

        Dont be so hard on yourself Ron,i also failed to spot the problem,i just thought it was a twitchy little sod ,,the main thing is that its sorted now

          i too did this when i first started out. was flying it in non heading hold for about a month before i worked out how to get it set in hh! and in the words of homer j simpson "Doh!"
